Grease filter

Short description

Filter cells are made of stainless steel threads crosslinked in a special pattern to obtain a greater cooling surface and reduce air resistance. These filters can be cleaned in most dishwashers. Mainly used in kitchen exhaust systems.

Description

Product description
In this filter fats are filtered in two phases. In first phase, air flows through filter labyrinth structure in which air changes its direction and is cooled due to large surface area. Fat condenses on the labyrinthine structure of the filter and flows into groove embedded into the filter stand. This reduces likelihood of filter clogging and pressure drops. Groove can be easily removed and cleaned. After labytinth structure air passes trough thin threads of stainless steel, that are filtering remaining fat. Filter has two handles for ease of installation. Filtration efficiency of 90% - 95%, these cells are applicable to most hoods, that are used in the industry.

Fire safety
Grease filters are completely made of stainless steel. Fat is condensed in the primary filter with labyrinth structure. Smaller particles are filtered through the end filter consisting of thin stainless steel threads. This kind of fat filter greatly reduces chance of fire in the air duct.

Grease filter cells
In cooking process most of the fat is transferred with steam. When this fat-steam mixture passes through the filter cells, fat is condensed on the surface of the labyrinth filter, which reduces the chance of fire in the duct.

Filters are commonly used in the following industries:
- Professional kitchens
- Food Industry
- Public buildings
- Household
